LAHORE: Punjab Halal Development Agency (PHDA) has announced 6th International Halal Conference and Expo scheduled to be held on April 11 and 12 here at a local hotel.
Prime objective of the event is to showcase livestock and allied industries potential for international community and thus promote Halal trade of Pakistan.
According to a PHDA spokesman, the agency has facilitated more than 40 international potential buyers and exhibitors also have registered to visit Pakistan.They would observe the livestock and halal value chain of the country. PHDA has also planned field visits of the foreigners to various livestock farms and allied industries in order to highlight latent potential of the industry, he added.
