The entry and exist points of all industrial areas of the city are clogged with shanties causing an unsecure environment and are also the main reason of poor law and order situation, they added.

The leaders of SITE Association, North Karachi, F B Area, SITE Super Highway, Korangi Industrial Area, Bin Qasim and Landhi were of view that if the government fails to look after these issues, they would be left with no choice, but to stop paying taxes and resolve their issues with these funds.

They demanded that dedicated pipelines for supply of water, gas and more than one power distribution company should be given the responsibility to bring an end to the monopoly of one company.
