7 Pesco XENs, 15 SDOs suspended

ISLAMABAD: Seven XENs and 15 SDOs of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) have been suspended over poor performance.

Ministry of Water and Power Secretary Mohammad Younus Dagha suspended officials include XEN Mansehra Rural, XEN Charsadda, XEN city, XEN city rural, XEN Mardan 1, XEN Bannu 1 and XEN Bannu 2. Fifteen SDOs, whose AT&C (Aggregate technical and commercial) losses crossed 4.5 percent compared with the previous year, were also suspended.

According to officials, the suspension orders were issued after finding AT&C losses in their respective areas more than that of previous corresponding year during the monthly performance review of Pesco.
