OTTAWA: Estevan police have seized drugs that they say have a street value of $82,000.
Officers from the Estevan Police Service drug intelligence unit and members of the containment and warrant entry team raided a home in the city, which is about 200 kilometres southeast of Regina.
Police didn’t say what kind of drugs were seized, but released several photographs suggesting it was marijuana.
Police said that when they entered the residence they encountered a man brandishing a machete. He was arrested without incident.
The man faces several charges.
