KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation Mukesh Kumar Chawla has said that the Road Checking Campaign to impound tax defaulting vehicles is going on in Karachi and all owners of the vehicles are hereby advised to deposit their taxes along with fine to avoid any unpleasant situation.
In a briefing about ongoing drive against tax defaulters, the minister was informed that the Road Checking Campaign was launched on September 20, said a statement on Friday.
It was informed that so far 5,285 vehicles had been checked, out of which 43 vehicles had been impounded. The minister while showing his satisfaction over the ongoing campaign directed the officers to speed up their efforts.
