91 cases worth Rs1907m still pending in Customs Adjudication

ISLAMABAD: At least 91 cases and contraventions reports are pending in Collectorate of Customs Adjudication worth Rs1907 million since January 1, 2018 till September 15.

Sources told Customs Today that 58 cases are pending for the last three months while 28 numbers of cases are pending over six months and four cases are pending up to one year.

Sources said that 18 cases are pending for more than two years. The revenue involved in these cases is Rs1907 million.

Sources said that Collector Adjudication Sadiqullah Khan concluded hearing of 5 cases and contraventions during month of August of Fiscal Year 2018-19 worth Rs203 million while five new cases were registered. Four cases were decided in favor of customs departments, the sources added.
