MULTAN: State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has said that in a bid to overcome loadshedding, 93 new grid stations are being set up.
While talking to media, he said that 1,100 kilometre transmission lines would be laid to resolve electricity crisis in the country. He said 1,000MW would be generated by new power plants by the end of this year. He was talking to newsmen after inaugurating renovations of a grid station in Shujaabad.
He said peace in Karachi was imperative for economic activity. He said the operation led by Rangers in Karachi was targeting hardened criminals. He said there was no likelihood of imposing of governor’s rule in Sindh.
