Valuation rulings of different items updated in WeBOC

KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation Department following the directives of Director General Customs Valuation Amir Marwat has updated status of Valuation Rulings (VRs) in WeBOC, Computerised System.

Sources in the Department told Customs Today that the process of up-gradation of VRs in WeBOC System was completed on Dec 6 (Friday) with delay of a week. Now importers and exporters can see the exact VRs of any item while filing their GDs in WeBOC.

Earlier, importers and Customs agents had raised their concerns about the problems being faced while filing the GDs as values of all the items were not added in WeBOC. Valuation rulings were also not uploaded by FBR on its website, creating problems for importers and Customs agents.

The Directorate General of Customs Valuation Department has updated VRs on WeBOC System to facilitate importers and customs agents, however; FBR has not yet provided the facility to see the latest VRs on its website.
