KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait Customs nabbed two smugglers and seized nine black bags containing hashish, narcotic pills, rolled cigarettes, tools used for consuming drugs here the other day.
Both Kuwaiti smugglers were arrested in possession of drugs. One among them was sentenced to four years in prison in absentia.
According to Customs sources, Customs officers were patrolling when they stopped a vehicle for checking and discovered that the two occupants of the vehicle are Kuwaiti citizens. While checking their details, officers discovered that one of the suspects was sentenced to four-year imprisonment. They checked the vehicle to find nine black bags containing hashish, narcotic pills, rolled cigarettes, tools used for consuming drugs and a sum of KD 330.
