KABUL: Afghanistan- Iran trade exhibition has started in capital city, Kabul. Iranian Vice President for Executive Affairs, Mohammad Shariatmadari, arrived in Kabul to inaugurate this trade expo.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Iran’s Ambassador to Kabul Mohammad Reza Bahrami said Afghanistan is the fourth major export destination for Iran.
He regarded Afghanistan as a vital trade route and market for Iranian businesses and called for strengthening the economic cooperation between the two nations.
Iranian Vice-President for Executive Affairs Mohammad Shariatmadari arrived in Kabul on Monday to inaugurate an Iranian Exclusive Trade Expo in capital city of Kabul.
He is due to meet with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and CEO Dr. Abdullah Abdullah to confer on boosting friendly ties and regional issues.
The first Afghan-Iran Trade Expo was held last year in Herat city.
According to officials, exhibitions as such can help maintain peace, stability, investment and employment in the countries.
