DUBLIN: Electric Ireland will cut its standard unit price for all of its residential gas customers by 2.5pc from April 1, 2015.
Electric Ireland reduced electricity prices by 2pc last November and we are now happy to announce a reduction of 2.5pc for over 130,000 Electric Ireland residential gas customers,” said executive director Jim Dollard. “This reinforces our commitment to offering the best value and exceptional customer care in a very competitive market.”
The company said the cut will result in a typical household saving €20.83 a year (including VAT, based on a usage of 13,800 kWh).
