KARACHI: Five ships carrying AV Gass100LL, containers, vehicle and coal are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage of Karachi Port on Saturday.

Kathrina S, Thorco Avantgarde, King Fortune, Cape Marin, Freight Margie and Karachi were berthed on Friday.

Posen, Hyundai Bangkok, Kola Gembira, Northern Prelude, Hansa Africa and Freight Margie were due to depart.

A cargo volume of 80,751 tonnes comprising 60,829 tonnes of import and 19,922 tonnes of export was handled.

Following ships are due to arrive on Saturday: Stolt Span with AV Gass100LL, Rio Charleston with containers, Onyx Arrow and Liberty Pride V41 with vehicle and Bao Success with coal.

Port Qasim

KARACHI: Two ships Siagon Express and Tabea carrying containers arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA release.

Meanwhile, seven ships carrying palm oil, sunflower seeds, containers, diesel oil, and chemicals also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Five ships Siagon Express, Tabea, Nedlloyd Europe, Christos Theo and Genuine Galaxy are currently occupying berths to load/ offload containers, rice and palm oil.

A cargo volume of 95126 tonnes comprising 49156 tonnes of import and 45970 tonnes of export was handled.
