FAULT: Consumers have been suffering great ordeal due to prolonged technical fault in internet service in Sialkot areas. Industrialists, traders and exporters complained that they were unable to contact with their foreign customers as their internet connections were lying out of order for the last one month. They said that they had repeatedly lodged complaints at the local PTCL offices for the rectification, but still remain unable to get the service.

When contacted, officials of PTCL in Sialkot said that the DSL service disrupted due to some technical faults in Islamabad fiber cable. However, they were busy to remove the local faults in the service in Sialkot.
