MULTAN: Federal Service Tribunal Customs has suspended superintendent of Multan Customs Intelligence and Investigation on the charges of corruption from his duty.
Multan Customs Intelligence Superintendent Siraaj Malik along with two inspectors Hamid Habib and Tariq Mehmood challenged their transfer from Multan to Islamabad .They had filed the appeal in the Customs Services Tribunal against their transfer.

The Customs Service Tribunal has asked the Customs Intelligence and Investigation to appear in court along with employees’ record for further proceedings in a case for the transfer of three employees from Multan to Islamabad.
All three employees have filed petition with a view that their whole service were perfect throughout the career and so the tribunal should cancel their transfer in the lights of their decent service record. While the Customs Intelligence and Investigation has presented the whole service record in front of Services Tribunal for the further proceeding of appeal against their transfer.
According to the records of Customs Superintendent Siraaj was found involved in a case with FIR no. 2/2014.The case was registered against suspended superintendent in 2010 during his services of Islamabad Customs. Customs Service Tribunal immediately passed the order of suspension from the Tribunal due to immoral previous performance in his service.
The Customs Service Tribunal have not suspended the two Inspectors Hamid Habib and Tariq Mehmood, their appeals against transfer will be decided on next hearing.
Customs Service Tribunal directed the Customs Intelligence and Investigation to submit comments against these two employees for transfer which will assist them in final decision. Customs Services Tribunal has adjourned the hearing against transfer of employees until 13 March for further proceedings.
