Islamabad customs collects Rs 26 million after third auction of vehicles

ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) has collected Rs 26 million after third auction of vehicles.

The collectorate had collected Rs 66 million in the previous auction.

However, the seized items were not auctioned, as the auction rates for cosmetics and imported cloth were very low.

Model Customs Collectorate Deputy Director Yawar Nawaz while talking to Customs Today said the process of auction had been completed in a clear and transparent manner.

“The amount of auction has been received. The process of auction will continue.”

It is expected that the Model Customs Collectorate will achieve the target set for the current fiscal year.
