KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark KSE-100 index continued its upward rally and gained 53 points to reach 33422 points with total volume of 44,639,420 shares till midday on Friday, the last trading day.
Earlier, KSE-100 index started with positive note, gaining 48 points or 0.14 per cent and reached 33416.89 points. The market witnessed highest trading of 33474.06 points and lowest trading of 33364.86 points.
On political end, the ruling party PML-N has swept in Punjab in Senate elections, which has further boosted confidence of the investors.
