Mukarram Jah attends pre-PAC meeting in Islamabad

LAHORE: Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Preventive Collector Mukkaram Jah Ansari on Monday left for Islamabad to participate in the pre-Public Accounts Committee (PAC) meeting, sources told Customs Today.

The pre-PAC meeting has been called by Federal Board of Revenue Chairman Tariq Bajwa in order to finalise discussion on paragraphs made by the AGP, the sources added.

Collectors of Pakistan Customs from other parts of the country were also invited to take part in the meeting and talk to the chairman on the objectionable paragraphs.

After having all the details and meeting with the collectors, the chairman would finalised the deliberation on the paragraphs in order to give accurate account of the settled and non-settled paragraphs on which the AGP raised objections before the National Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee.
