Five FBR officials to attend ‘Operational Coordination Meeting’ in Tajikistan

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has finalised a team of officers to attend the meeting on “Global Shield Operational Coordination Programme”, organised by the World Customs Organisation (WCO) in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

The meeting will start from April 15 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

World Customs Organisation (WCO) Secretary General Kunio Mikuriya has sent a letter to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), nominating the officers.

The officers include Exports Deputy Collector Shoukat Hayat from Karachi, Faisalabad Assistant Collector Rana Irfan Shoukat, Gwadar Assistant Collector Maqbool Ahmed Baloch, Input Output Co-efficient Organization (IOCO) Karachi Deputy Director Muhammad Azam and Karachi Senior Preventive Officer (SPO) Muhammad Shuja.

The Revenue Division of the FBR has sent a copy of the WCO letter to the Chief Management of Islamabad Customs with a request to issue no-objection certificates (NOC) and gratis passports to the above-named officers to proceed abroad for participation in the meeting.
