ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s two- and three-wheeler sales reached an all-time high of 202,502 units in September 2026, crossing the 200,000-unit mark for the first time.
The record sales reflect resilient demand for affordable transportation amid rising petrol prices, as consumers continue to rely on motorcycles and other two- and three-wheelers for daily commuting.
Improving crop prices are also supporting the recovery in the rural two- and three-wheeler market, where better agricultural incomes can strengthen consumers’ purchasing power.
Data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA), cited in Topline Research, shows that monthly two- and three-wheeler sales have fluctuated over the years before reaching the record level in September 2026.
The latest figures highlight sustained demand for two- and three-wheelers, which remain an important and relatively affordable mode of transportation for households across Pakistan.
