ASO impounds vehicles worth Rs 4 million in Lahore

LAHORE: The Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) of the Lahore Preventive impounded non-customs paid vehicles worth Rs 4 million on Thursday.

Official sources said that the customs seized one Toyota Land Cruiser from Ferozepur Road and a Honda Civic from Shahdara in the operation.

The ASO scout intercepted two vehicles on the roads and impounded them when the owners failed to produce documents, sources added.

They added that the ASO has stored the impounded vehicles in the state warehouse at the Shah Noor Studio.

Sources further informed Customs Today that cases have been registered against the owners named Saeed and Akbar, while further investigation is underway in this regard.
