ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders Patron Dr Shahid Rasheed Butt has urged the government to tackle energy crisis by initiating mega projects like [$3 billion] Iran gas pipeline deal and [3,600 megawatts] Kalabagh dam.

He emphasised that these two projects are guarantee of Pakistan’s bright future, however, several intellectuals and politicians haven’t realised it yet. “We should stop digging own grave,” he warned, adding that politicians have decided to remain undecided on critical issues of national importance which is leading the country nowhere.
