KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation has re-assessed the Customs values of Medium Density Fiber Board (MDF Board), Galvanized/un-Galvanized Iron & Steel Wire Rope and printing ink under Section 25-A of the Customs Act, 1969. The Customs Valuation Department has issued Valuation Ruling No.631/2013 for MDF Board which supersedes the previous VR No.344/2011 on 23rd June, VR No. 632/2013 for Galvanized/un-Galvanized iron & steel wire rope which supersedes the previous VR No.13/2006 on 21st May and VR No. 634/2013 for printing ink which supersedes the VR No.523 issued on 28th December, 2012.
According to the details, the Customs values of MDF Board with the specifications 2.2mm to 3mm from Sri Lanka Origin has fixed at US$0.346per Kg; the Customs values of MDF Board with specifications 3.1m to 6mm from Sri Lanka Origin has fixed at US$0.348per Kg; the Customs values of 6.1mm to 9.9mm MDF Board from Sri Lanka has fixed at US$0.34per Kg; the Customs values of 10mm to 14.9mm MDF Board from Sri Lanka Origin has fixed at US$0.34per Kg; the Customs values of 15mm to 25mm MDF Board from Sri Lanka Origin has fixed at US$0.349per Kg.
