FBR IR Intelligence issues notices to 10 persons in Ayyan Ali case

ISLAMABAD: Directorate of Intelligence Inland Revenue (IR) has postponed the registration of an income tax reference against Model Ayyan Ali in the court and issued notices to 10 persons including a woman to make the case stronger. Meanwhile, the directorate also investigated bank accounts of Ayyan Ali to check sale and purchase of flats and plots in Defence Housing Society.

Inland Revenue I&I issued notice to Sabeeh Yunus, who sold Ayyan’s flat in Defence Housing Society Phase 8 and also asked her to submit all the papers including agreement, details of sources of amount paid to her and bank transaction details to the department.

Moreover, other people are also asked to provide all the details about sale and purchase of plots by Ayyan Ali, because the location of these plots is dubious. They are asked to provide details of sources of payment of Ayyan Ali and about people who purchased plots from Ayyan Ali.
