LAHORE: Traders of sanitary wares and ceramic tiles on Ferozepur Road staged a symbolic protest against the Income Tax Department’s persistent harassment.
Traders kept their shops closed for two hours to show unity with Mahmood and Sons Sanitary Store which was raided by Inland Revenue team on suspicion of tax evasion last week.

It is pertinent to mention here that Ferozepur Road Traders Union Chairman Mahboob Sirki has also announced to protest against the Income Tax Department on April 13.
The FBR Inland Revenue (IR) team had seized the record of Mahmood Sons, including their computers, laptops and other relevant material, last week.
