KSE sheds some early gains, remains in green zone; 100-index up by 160pts to 31574

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange Monday witnessed fluctuation in trading and lost some early points, but still in green zone till midday.

The benchmark KSE 100-index gained 159.87 points or 0.51 per cent to reach 31573.83points with the total volume of 90,781,470 shares, having 5,519,610,294 value. The benchmark 100-index witnessed highest trading level of 31627.51 points and lowest level of 31341.48 points.

The three top traded companies were Pak Elektron with a volume of 17,603,500 and price per share of 53.31 (2.53), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 9,871,500 of price per share of 16.25 (0.34) and MapleLeafCement XD with a volume 9,601,000 of price per share of 57.32 (1.72).

Earlier, Karachi Stock Exchange shot up by 281 points or 0.90 per cent to 31413.96 points.
