ISLAMABAD: Habib Bank Limited (HBL) and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), with the help of Suzhou Municipal Government, have jointly organised an investment forum in Suzhou China to market the Special Economic Zones (SEZs), which are being developed at Gwadar (Balochistan) and Punjab.
Board of Investment (BoI) Secretary Iftikhar Babar and Director General Dr Raania attended the forum, which was attended by more than 100 Chinese prominent investors.
The BoI Secretary, conveying the strategic location of Pakistan, emphasised on the Chinese investors to invest in Gwadar free zone as well as in the SEZs to be established alongside China Pakistan Economic Corridor and avail the opportunity of getting access in the Middle East, Central Asia and African countries.
