Closing: KSE bounces back with 287pts or 0.91% gains to end in green zone

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index gained 286.57 points or 0.91percent to reach 31887.30 points and volume of 199,747,830 shares on Wednesday.

Earlier, stocks maintained the positive rally till midday on Wednesday, recording a 370.78 points rise to reach 31971.51 points mark with a volume of 103,406,640 shares.

The three top traded companies remained MapleLeafCement XD with a volume of 13,349,500 and price per share of 60.10, Pak Elektron with a volume 10,095,500 and price per share of 57.19, Jah.Sidd Company with a volume 10,042,000 and price per share of 20.92.

The KSE 100-Index bounced back today morning after bearish trend on Tuesday, losing 151 points at closing due to vigilant trading.

The High and Low were 32073.93 and 31600.73 respectively with the total volume traded in the market of 199,747,830.
