NEW DELHI: Xiaomi has announced that it will unveil its next Smartphone in India ahead of other markets.

Though the tweet above doesn’t say much, it intrigues users with the ‘i’ reference, which has traditionally been associated with Apple. Xiaomi has long spoken of its admiration for Apple, and has been accused of copying the Cupertino giant many a times.

Earlier this week, Xiaomi ended its exclusive partnership with e-commerce website Flipkart, expanding its products’ availability to Amazon as well as Snapdeal. It also sells products on its official website.

It also entered the Guinness Book of World Records for selling over 2 million smart phones in less than 12 hours.
