FAISALABAD: Regional Tax Office, Faisalabad, Assistant Commissioner IR Ahmad Sohail took legal action against the Chiniot Welfare Trust, which was using two imported vehicles as Ambulance and charged a tax of Rs 190 million to Chiniot Welfare Trust.
As per details the Trust failed to deposit the tax, therefore, on directions of the higher authorities, Assistant Commissioner IR Ahmad Sohail constituted a team headed by Ch Amjad Latif, Supervisor to look into the matter.
The team raided at various points of the Trust and seized two expensive imported vehicles, which were found under commercial use of the Trust. The said Ambulances will shortly be sold through an open auction.
