FBR suspends sales tax registration of Samad Sons

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax office-II (RTO) has suspended the sales tax registration of Samad Sons Private Limited Company on charges of tax evasion and irregularities.

Sources said that RTO-II Lahore was observing the production of the company, electricity bills and stock through its intelligence team. RTO-II found that Samad Sons Private Limited Company was evading tax by filing the wrong statements to the FBR.

FBR Regional Tax office-II is also monitoring many companies which are allegedly involved in irregularities in term of sales tax and other taxes. The official of RTO-II especially assessing the electricity bills of various companies because assessment of the production can monitor easily through the electricity bills.
