Excise issues property tax notice to Bilawal House Lahore

LAHORE: Excise and Taxation Department has issued property tax notice to Bilawal House Lahore, Secretariat of Pakistan People’s Party in Lahore.

According to Customs Today sources a notice has been issued to Bilawal House Lahore, a residence of former President and Co-Chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari. Asif Ali Zardari during his visit to Lahore used to stay at Bilawal House and hold meeting with regional leaders.

The excise has issued a notice of Rs 3.6million property tax including penalty of Rs 0.3 million on delay, to Bilawal House.

Sources revealed that Bilawal house is not a property of Asif Ali Zardari as it had been gifted to Asif Zardari by Pakistan’s Real Estate and Property Tycoon Malik Riaz.

Sources also said that notice has been issued to Malik Muhammad Riaz to pay the tax as Bilawal House is not under the ownership of Asif Ali Zardari.
