Turkish scrap import prices advance further to $275/ton week-on-week

ANKARA: Turkish HMS 1/2 80:20 scrap import prices (CFR Iskenderun Port, Turkey) advanced further by $4 a ton week-on-week t0 $275 a ton during last week, as per the Steel Index.

Another week of relatively strong buying from Turkish mills saw prices edge higher, with a number of trades completed at $275 a ton and the highest trade heard completed at $277 a ton.
