KARACHI: Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) Karachi has collected Rs 11.375 billion against the target of Rs 11.571 billion in the sum of direct and indirect taxes in April.
According to the details, Rs 37 million were collected as sales tax, Rs 14 million as federal excise duty (FED) and Rs 11.324 billion under thincome tax head.
The RTO-I authorities were confident of achieving their target of revenue collection before the end of the current fiscal year.
