Hamad Siddiqui: Business skills of women from Southern Punjab need to be utilised

MULTAN: Women of Southern Punjab are full of talent and skills they can become successful businesswomen if their skills are utilized to earn foreign exchange, Hamad Siddiqui, Deputy Country Director Centre for International Enterprises has said.

Addressing a training workshop “start new business to make it profitable” at the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Multan Division, he said that a large number of women are participating in different kinds of trade activities from the Southern Punjab.

He gave the participants some awareness about the international trade conditions, system of taxation, accounts and how to search new potential markets for their trading of their products in the training session. Quality management is the most significant aspect of the manufacturing of any product in the world and without the customary quality sustainable growth of the business cannot achieved.

President Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Multan Humera Batool told that her members that large number of woman are manufacturing regional and local embroidery stuffs and  exporting their  goods in the International markets which generates handsome revenue .

She told that her Chamber of commerce and Industry is putting efforts for developing good relations with the trade organizations of the world for the promotion of business. In the whole world the manufactured products sampling has been done to check and evaluate the quality of products so we will also focus on the quality management of the products for higher returns she added.

She vowed that South Punjab will be the center for the business and economic activities of the country upcoming years due to the interest of their business community in the region.
