KARACHI: Directorate General Intelligence and Investigation-FBR Karachi Region has registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Muhammad Wasim resident of Gujranwala, Proprietor of M/s. Ajwa Recycling on the charges of illegal import of printed/misprinted paper scraps in rolls under the guise of import of paper scrap by mis-declaring in description, value and cleared from MCC-Appraisement (East), Customs House Karachi.
The complainant of the case is Saeed ur Reham, Intelligence Officer, directorate General, Intelligence and Investigation-FBR, Karachi.
The FIR was lodged for laws violated under Section 16, 32(I)(2) & 79(I) of the Customs Act, 1969 read with S. No.11 of Appendix-B of Import Policy Order issued vide SRO.193(I)/2013 dated 08-03-2013 punishable under clause 14 of Section 156(I) of the Customs Act, 1969.
