Motor Branch seizes documents of 198 tax defaulter vehicles

LAHORE: Punjab Excise and Taxation Motor Branch Lahore has seized documents of 198 token tax defaulter vehicles in one Friday during general holdup.

According to sources and details available to Customs today Excise Motor branch Lahore is vigilant against token tax defaulters and is always ready to take ant strict action against token tax defaulters and unregistered vehicles.

In crackdown against token tax defaulter vehicles excise Punjab has seized documents of 198 vehicles from different areas of Lahore.

Excise seized documents at different check posts near Defense More, Ghazi Road, Jail Road, Ferozepur Road, Model Town, Multan Road, Raiwand Road, Ravi Road, Faisal Town, Ghazi Chowk and Shahdara Toll Plaza.

Excise action against defaulters is likely to continue with more strictness sin coming days as Secretary Ali Tahir has warned the directors to improve their performances as soon as possible because only less than two months are left in this fiscal year. This statement of Ali Tahir was observed during director’s conference at Directorate General Lahore office.
