TOKYO: Nintendo is concluding partnership with Universal Parks & Resorts to turn its iconic characters and games into real-world attractions.
Nintendo, which officially announced the partnership, is yet to provide any in-depth information as to what to expect and when, but it is understood that Universal will be turning Nintendo’s most famous characters like Zelda, Super Mario, Yoshi, and more, their worlds and storylines into rides, attractions and immersive experiences at its sites.
Universal currently has theme parks in the US (California and Florida), Japan (Osaka) and Singapore. The company also has projects for parks in Beijing and Moscow in the future.
