NEW YORK: It is in the air that iOS 9 to be launched this year by September along with the iPhone 6S or iPhone 7. Although Apple hasn’t confirmed anything yet. But, the internet is a magical place where leaks, rumors and gossips are circulating with the speed of light and, of course, we came across some rumors about iOS 9, which will be nicknamed “Monarch”.
We’ll start by saying that Apple is focusing more on the Siri department and will try to improve the intelligent personal assistant which takes voice commands and answers questions or performs other tasks based on voice recognition. Also, according to the rumors, iOS 9 will be more colorful to please the Apple Watch owners, but the most important aspect is the stability, and Apple will try to fix all the bugs before releasing the iOS 9 with its new features. Also, Apple will try to reduce the firmware storage strain, so that the owners of iDevices with small internal memories will have more room to save data.
In addition, iOS 9 will integrate the new music service from Apple, whose foundations has been laid down in the iOS 8.4 version. So, you can say good bye to Beats Music and prepare to welcome the new music service which will blow your mind (or ears) away.
The first rumor about the existence of the iOS 9 started on a website, then other websites reported that they got a few hits from iPhones running on iOS 9 and later, a leaked screenshot showed an iOS 8 and iOS 9 benchmark.
Most likely, Apple will unveil the iOS 9 along with the new version of Apple TV firmware and Apple Watch OS, at this year’s WWDC, which will kick off on June 8. Shortly after that, the beta 1 of iOS 9 is expected to be released.
More rumors are spreading over the internet, saying that Apple will launch a public beta of iOS 9 before its public release and it will be available for the members of the iOS Dev Center program. We’re pretty sure that the iPhone 4S won’t be upgraded to iOS 9, and we’re curious what generations of iPhones, iPads and iPods will support the new OS.
