LAHORE: Lawyers, on the call of the Punjab Bar Council, boycotted the courts and took out protest rallies to mourn the brutal Safoora Chowrangi massacre that claimed lives of 45 innocent people of the Ismaili community.

Lawyers in the federal courts also boycotted the court proceedings and showed their solidarity with the innocent people of Karachi. Customs Court, Anti-Narcotics Court and the Court of Banking Crimes were without any proceedings. Different cases were scheduled and the court adjourned all of them until the next hearing because no lawyer was present in the court.
