KARACHI: The Chief Collector-Enforcement (South) Muhammad Nazim Saleem on Wednesday held a meeting with the officials of the MCC-Export.
Collector-MCC Export Javed Ghani, Additional Collector Irfan Javed, Deputy Collector Shaukat Hayat and Deputy Collector Ali Ejaz were also present in the meeting.
During the meeting, Chief Collector-Enforcement (South) Muhammad Nazim Saleem reviewed the performance and revenue status of MCC-Export and urged the authorities concerned to ensure achievement of revenue target by the end of current fiscal year (2014-15).
On this occasion, the Collector-MCC Export Javed Ghani briefed the Chief Collector-Enforcement (South) about the revenue collection and measures taken by the Collectorate in order to ensure achievement of revenue target by the end of current fiscal year 2014-15.
The Collector-MCC Export Javed Ghani also informed the Chief Collector-Enforcement that the Collectorate is taking strict measures against the smuggling and illegal export of ban items; adding that strict scrutiny is being conducted by the authorities concerned of the Collectorate in authentication of Form-E.
The Chief Collector-Enforcement (South) Muhammad Nazim Saleem has expressed his satisfaction over the measures taken by the MCC-Export authorities to ensure achievement of revenue targets.
The sources further informed this scribe that the Chief Collector-Enforcement (South) has decided to conduct weekly meetings of all concerned Collectorates including MCC-Preventive, MCC-Hyderabad, MCC-Gwadar, MCC-Quetta and MCC-Port Muhammad Bin Qasim (Export) at individual basis in order to evaluate the performance of every Collectorate on individual basis.
