RTO Lahore arrests owner of Sabri Steels on tax evasion.

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office (RTO) Lahore has arrested Faizan Ali Haneef, owner of Sabri Steels, in a tax evasion case.

As per detail, Commissioner of Regional Tax Office Lahore, Inland Revenue, Asim Majeed Khan, instructed a team of IR to conduct raid and arrest the accused.

Officials said that accused Faizan, owner of Sabri Steels, was reluctant to pay the leviable tax amounting to Rs 10.25 million despite sending the several notices to him.

After non-payment of taxes, FBR, s team including Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Rafique Mian, Inspector Zafar Iqbal and Inspector Malik Muhammad Jamil under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Farhan Sattar raided the factory and arrested the accused to recover evaded tax.
