FBR extends date for filing of income tax returns

LAHORE: In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, FBR is pleased to extend the date of filing of income tax returns/statements for the tax year 2013 as under:

1-    The date of filing of returns of total income/statements of final taxation of companies whose tax year ends any time between the first day of July 2012 to 31^st day of December 2012 which is due on or before 30^th September 2013, is hereby extended to 31^st October 2013.

2-    The date of filing of returns by other persons which is due on 30^th September 2013 is also extended to 31^st October 2013.

3-      The date of filing of returns of total income/statements of final taxation which was due on 31^st August 2013 and was extended to 30^th September 2013 vide FBR’s circular No 07 of 2013 dated 13^th August 2013 is further extended to 31^st October 2013.
