DG Customs I&I visits Lahore dry ports

LAHORE: Director General Customs Investigation and Intelligence Riaz Khan on Tuesday visited Prem Nagar and Thokar Niaz Baig dry ports.

According to details, DG Customs I&I reached Lahore on Tuesday on two days tour.

Official sources said that official at the Dry Ports briefed the DG about their performance. The DG instructed the top officials to become more vigilant to curb the menace of smuggling in the region, sources added.

The sources said that on Wednesday, the DG will visit the regional office of Directorate General of Customs Investigation and Intelligence and review the performance of the staff. On the same day, he will return back to Islamabad, sources added.
