LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue’s field formation offices will remain open till 9pm on Saturday (May 30).
The FBR has issued a notification to all offices, including Regional Tax offices (RTOs), Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU) in this regard. The purpose to enhance the timing is to facilitate the taxpayers regarding the payment of taxes for the current fiscal year 2014-15.
Chairman Federal Board of Revenue has issued orders to all chief commissioners of Inland Revenue for compliance of the instructions.
The FBR has also taken this decision to expedite the tax recovery as there is only one month left to meet the set target of the year.
