Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece sign agreement for customs cooperation

ANKARA: At the invitation of Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister for Coalition Policy and Public Administration and Minister of Interior Rumyana Bachvarova the interior ministers of Greece and Turkey will arrive in Sofia for a joint meeting on strengthening the cooperation among the countries in the fields of security and law-enforcement, the press office of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior announced.

After the meeting Ms Bachvarova and her counterparts will ink a tripartite agreement on the establishment of a joint contact centre for police and customs cooperation.
The signing of the document will be followed by statements for the media.
The signing ceremony will be also attended by Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.
The agreement will be signed by Bulgarian Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova, Turkish Interior Minister Sebahattin Ozturk, and Giannis Panousis, Deputy Minister of Interior in charge of security issues, fight against crime, public order and civil protection (having the rank of an interior minister).
