TOKYO: Nintendo will introduce Splatoon the third person shooter for Wii U in all regions later this week. The fact that the game is so close to release doesn’t mean that Nintendo is done promoting it, as the Japanese company has made available a new gameplay video earlier today on its Official Japanese YouTube Channel.

The new Weapon Showcase video, which can be found by going at the end of this post, is focused on one of the weapons of the game, the .52 Gal Shooter. The weapon, which is one of the main weapons of the game, is a  really powerful one consuming a large amount of ink with each shot. Since the .52 Gal Shooter’s fire rate is rather low, players need to be very careful when using it.

Another Splatoon Weapon Showcase video has been made available a few days ago. The showcased weapon is the Splashooter, one of the weapons that have also been available in the recent Splatoon Global Testfire. The weapon is a really versatile one which can be used in a variety of situations.

In the past few weeks, several other Splatoon videos have been made available online, including a short commercial called Ink It Up and others that have been taken during the Splatoon Global Testfire earlier this month so make sure to check them out if you want to see more of the game.

Splatoon will be released in all regions exclusively on Wii U later this week, on May 29th. A new amiibo line will also be launched on the same day, with the three Splatoon figures allowing players to unlock special missions in the game and obtain some exclusive items that cannot be obtained in any other way. A Wii U console bundle including a copy of Splatoon and Nintendo Land is also getting released later this week.
