I paid tax of Rs 3 million last year: Hafeez

LAHORE: Former T20 captain of Pakistan cricket team Muhammad Hafeez has said that he is a responsible citizen and has paid tax of Rs 3 million last year.

After freezing of his bank account, Hafeez said that the Federal Board of Revenue has seized his account without thorough investigations. The FBR should check his record of payment of taxes. He complained that it is one sided decision by Federal Board of Revenue.

Hafeez said that he is paying income tax every month in the wake of his monthly salary and receive salary after deduction of income tax.
