RTO II fails to achieve revenue target

LAHORE: Regional Tax Office II Lahore is failed in collection of revenue during the current fiscal year 2014-15.

The total target for the month of May was Rs 6.6 billion but Regional Tax Office II collected 6.2 billion rupees.

Although it is not up to the revenue target but FBR Regional 2 tax office has collected 14% extra than same month of the fiscal year of 2013-2014.

According to Regional Tax office 2 officials, they are still hopeful and are making efforts for getting their target till the end of current fiscal year 2014-2015, as 30th June 2015. Replying to a question about not getting the target of May 2015 official said that the target of May missed due to non compliance of tax payers .RTO has set target for June  and hopeful to achieve  that despite some hurdles.
