FBR ask PCB, SNGPL to block accounts of cricketer Hafeez

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has written letters to Pakistan Cricket Board and Sui Northern Pipeline Gas Company to block accounts of national cricketer Muhammad Hafeez.

Former Pakistani T20 captain is in problems these days after poor performance in Bangladesh. The Pakistani all rounder is facing another problem. The FBR has freezed his bank accounts due to default of Rs 4.2 million in the wake of income tax. But according to Hafeez, he is paying his income tax regularly and paid Rs 3 million income taxes last year.

But now Federal Board of Revenue has sent a letter to Pakistan Cricket Board and employer of Muhammad Hafeez Sui Northern Gas Company to block his accounts.

It seems that Hafeez is getting more deep issues regarding income tax. Muhammad Hafeez is representing SNGPL and he is an employee of the department.
