FBR recovers Rs 2.5m from bank account of M/s Allied Engineering

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has frozen the bank account of a renowned engineering company situated on GT Road, Shahdara.

According to sources, the Lahore Regional Tax Office-I has recovered Rs 2.5 million from the bank account of Allied Engineering Company. The RTO team, under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Aisam Khokhar, took this action on information that Allied Engineering Company is not paying income tax as per their sales and other record.

The FBR team froze the bank account of the owner of the Allied Engineering Company, Nadeem Ahmad, and recovered an amount of Rs 2.5 million. The bank account of Nadeem Ahmad was frozen at the Bank Alfalah, Garden Town Branch.

During another action against Razzaq and Company, the FBR Regional Tax Office team recovered Rs 2.2 million from the company’s bank account. Razzaq and Company was also found a defaulter of income tax and sales tax. A team of the FBR took this action against the company and sealed the property of the company in Shahdara area of Lahore.
